ABBOTTABAD: The Department of Dental Education, Abbottabad International Medical Institute (AIMI), recently conducted a seminar on “Regeneration Surgeries and Soft Tissue Management “.
The seminar was conducted under the leadership of under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr Joharia Azhar. The honourable speaker of the seminar was Dr Asher Jamelle, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Periodontology, Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC), Karachi.
The seminar covered topics related to periodontics, advanced periodontology and also highlighted the importance of laser applications in the field. The lecture was also supported by clinical cases to provide a clear view to all the seminar attendees.
This seminar emphasised the importance of soft tissue management and advanced periodontology rather than opt for extreme measures like extractions.
