Q: Dr. Clayton Browne, tell me about the treatments offered at Clayton Browne Orthodontics.
A: We offer orthodontic treatment for all ages, including conservative-minded early treatment for younger children. We offer both traditional braces and clear aligner therapy.
Q: How can Pizitz Middle School students complete treatment during school hours?
A: We are thankful to have approval from Pizitz for children to check themselves out during school hours. They use our Smile Path to walk the short distance to and from our office for appointments. The Smile Path seems to reduce missed class time while freeing up parents from additional transportation responsibilities. We feel that it is a win-win.
Q: Are there safety measures in place to protect students?
A: We make sure that the process is very clear to both parents and patients before they use the Smile Path. We communicate with parents after the appointment with a treatment update. This keeps parents in the loop regarding treatment progress and lets them know the child is safe.
Q: How does this program help patients stay on track for their treatment?
A: The biggest thing is that the Smile Path reduces scheduling difficulties for parents. It’s a busy life for a lot of parents, so having kids walk back and forth makes it easier to keep up regular appointments, a must for achieving that beautiful smile in a timely manner.
Q: How can patients sign up for the program?
A: We typically ask parents at the consultation if they are interested in the Smile Path program, but they are free to bring up the subject anytime or call the office with questions. We are happy to walk them through the process. We just want it to be an option for anyone who might be interested.
