BUCYRUS – A new doctor is now seeing patients at CR Smiles Bucyrus Dental Care, 117 South Poplar Street.
Dr. William “Will” Grooms, D.D.S., started at the dental practice on July 1, taking over for Dr. Sarah Johnston.
“It’s going really well so far,” Grooms said. “The staff here is great. They’re all professional. It’s a good work environment.”
A native of Fairfax, Virginia, Grooms, 26, received a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Virginia Tech in 2017 and went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he graduated this year.
While at Ohio State, he said, mentors opened his eyes to the perks of the profession. “When people ask me why I enjoy being a dentist, I explain that I love using a team-based approach to provide tangible results that improve form, function, and appearance.”
Grooms said he has received advanced training in full mouth implants and restorative dentistry. He’s also qualified to perform root canals, bridges, crowns, and a wide range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening.
Grooms said he’s committed to his patients and providing outstanding dental health care to Crawford County-area families. “I am passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a beautiful smile,” he said.
“It’s great to be practicing dentistry. I’m excited about getting to know everyone in the community and providing the best care possible for them.”
Appointments with Grooms can be made by calling the office at 419-562-9901.
CR Smiles Bucyrus Dental is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m. The office is closed on Fridays.
